Unparalleled powerful calculation resources for simulations, enabling large multi-factor or multi-attribute studies with a reduced time to results.
Shareable and remotely accessible resources: no need for physical access to the HPC platform to use it.
Rationalized calculation means and asynchronous work: end-users' machines are not "frozen" anymore by time-consuming simulations and can be used for other valuable tasks.
Note that, according to Moore's law (see reference in the Glossary), HPC is currently the only way to significantly increase computation power. The figure below summarizes the various Simcenter Amesim study types, their main purposes and how much they can benefit from HPC. Note that only Experiments cannot currently be used in an HPC context.
