Simcenter Amesim Limitations

Windows

The Microsoft Visual C++ compiler is not supplied in the installation package, you have to install it independently. Simcenter Amesim is compatible with Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 to 2022.

Linux

In case of compatibility questions with your platforms and/or operating system versions, please contact your local Siemens Technical Support (see the How to contact Siemens section at the beginning of this document).

To use the Simcenter Amesim API in C under Linux, you need a GCC compiler version as described in the Circuit API Reference manual.
