Compilation window blocked during the first use of the interface

Situation

• The Simcenter Amesim /Simulink interface is used for the first time.

• When compiling the Simcenter Amesim system with Simulink blocks, the compilation window in Simcenter Amesim seems to be blocked and the following information is displayed: select a compiler Select a compiler:[1] Digital Visual Fortran version 6.0 in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio[2] Lcc C version 2.4 in C:\MATLAB6P5\sys\lcc[3] Microsoft Visual C/C++ version 6.0 in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio[0] None

Solution

Simcenter Amesim is waiting for the user to select a compiler:

Procedure

1. Right click at the bottom of the compilation window.

   A menu labeled Interactive compilation appears.

2. Select this menu.

   A blank field appears at the bottom of the compilation window.

3. Type the index corresponding to the Microsoft Visual C++ compiler in this field (3 in this example) and hit the Enter key.

Results

The compilation starts.
