XYZ curve

Curve type XYZ curve

This format allows you to create a 3D plot of data in Z-axis against the corresponding values in X-axis and values in Y-axis within Simcenter Amesim.

It contains three items: an X item, a Y item, and a Z item.

The triplets {X, Y, Z} usually define points that belong to the curve.

XYZ curve(s)

The action XYZ curve(s) from the Tools menu allows you to convert 2D curves into XYZ curves using the Y item of the original 2D curve as the X item, the Y item of the second original 2D curve as the Y item and the Y item(s) of the remaining curves as Z item(s) of the new XYZ curve(s). This implies that the plot contains at least three 2D curves.

Note

It is possible to convert two 2D curves into XYZ curve. In that case the X item of the XYZ curve is the common X item of the two 2D curves.
