Comparing parameters
Compare experiment parameters
If you have a large number of experiments, you may want to compare parameters of experiments with the current system, before applying an experiment. To do this, click the compare icon to open the Compare Experiment Parameters dialog box:
Select a reference experiment from the Reference list, and a comparison experiment from the Analyzed list and click the compare button :
If the experiments are identical, the following message appears:
If any differences are found, they are listed:
You can right-click on a line in the dialog box and select Center element to move the sketch to the selected element:
You can also select a line and use the Center element button: .
In addition to using the Compare Parameters function, you can get a quick idea of which parameters in an experiment are different from the circuit’s current parameters by hovering your mouse over the experiment description. The tooltip shows the parameters configured in the experiment that are different from those in the current circuit:
In this example, we can see that the car body masses and the spring rate in the selected experiment (exp_1) are different from those set in the circuit.
