The Parameters Window

The Parameters window allows you to view and/or edit the parameters of a class or a component (instance of a class). By default, the Parameters window is active in the Diagram view and hidden in the Text, Icon and Documentation views. However, you can choose to display it by doing a right-click and selecting Parameters.

Select an instance in the sketch to display its parameters, and clear your selection to display the parameters of the whole class.

The Parameters window displays the following information:

• Name

• Value

• Unit

• Comment

Note

The Parameters window displays empty content in the following cases:

• when you select several elements in the sketch,

• when you select a connection,

• when you select annotations (shapes or text items).
