Uploading a library
Uploading a library to Simcenter System Simulation Client for Git
In order to upload a library, you first need to create a collection. To do this, add the library you want to upload to the User-defined libraries list, and then create a collection for it. Once the collection has been created, the library path will be moved to the Client for Git libraries list.
Procedure
- Click the Browse button in the Add library path field and locate the library you want to upload.
The selected library is added to the User-defined libraries list.
- Right-click the library and select Create Collection for Client for Git.

Here you can modify the Collection Name, Branch Name, and select a Classification.
- Click Create Collection.

- Select the user library you want to upload to the Simcenter System Simulation Client for Git, click the down arrow and select Open in collection editor.

The Collection View opens in which you can prepare your upload: Figure 467: Collection View
Click the pen icon to modify the name and description fields as required and then the save icon to confirm your modifications.
Click the Upload button .
The Upload library window opens where you can modify the collection name, branch name and classification: Figure 468: Selecting a Classification
- Finally, click Upload.

Updating a library to the latest version
To get the latest version of an uploaded library, right-click it under Client for Git libraries and select Update to head.
