Working with your plots
View manipulation
In Zoom / Pan / Rotate mode, you can access all zoom functions through mouse combinations:
Rubber zoom with a left-click and drag
Autoscale with a left button double-click
Pan by pressing the mouse wheel and dragging
Zoom in/out by using the mouse wheel
Rotation (for 3D graphs) with a right-button click and drag
Note
X axes are synchronized by default. Press Shift to break this synchronization.
Starting a click and drag on an axis area constrains the zoom to that axis only.
Left click to rubber zoom: click on the graph and drag the mouse to zoom in on an area of the graph.
Double-click to autoscale: if you have zoomed in or out, or panned the graph, you can double-click the graph to return to the default view.
Wheel press to pan: press and hold your mouse wheel to pan the graph in any direction. Once you have dragged the graph to a new position, you can double-click to return to the default view.
Wheel up/down to zoom +/-: use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out on the graph.
Right-click to rotate (3D): if you have a 3D plot, a right-click allows you to rotate the view.
All zoom actions can be performed in the zoom/pan/rotate mode. For convenience, some other actions are available as one-shot actions in the View menu (autoscale, autoscale all, zoom previous, zoom next).
