Introduction
How does the Dashboard work?
The Dashboard is designed to visualize the results of your Simcenter Amesim simulations as a 2D animated scene, and to interactively control your Simcenter Amesim simulations
To create a Dashboard, you click the New dashboard icon in the Analysis toolbar:

A new Dashboard window opens:

You can have several separate Dashboard animations for a system, in which case you add an additional Dashboard for each new animation you want to create.
For example, if you are simulating a complete car, you can create several Dashboards linked to the different subsystems you want to animate: for example, a Dashboard for the speedometer, the rev counter, the throttle, the gearbox and the brake, a second Dashboard for the Vehicle Energy Management system, and through the interactive signal input feature, control gear ratios, throttle and brakes in real-time.
You can manage your different Dashboards through the Manage dashboards dialog box:

This dialog box is described in Managing Dashboards.
