| Case 1: | P > PHvap | there is liquid and free air/gas |
|---|---|---|
| Case 2: | PLvap < P < PHvap | there is some liquid, some vapor and free air/gas |
| Case 3: | P < PLvap | there is vapor and ALL the air/gas is free (no liquid) |
