Opening the App Designer

Step 1: Open the model

Simcenter Amesim demo model

For this first introduction to the App Designer, we will use a simple Simcenter Amesim demo model, MassSpringDamper1.ame , which is available through Help > Get demo.

Procedure

Open this model and save it in your working directory.

Step 2: Create an app

Procedure

  1. Switch to Parameter mode (F11).

  2. App space view

App Designer, New app Click the App space icon in the Analysis toolbar.

  1. Click the New tile from the MODEL APPS category:

The Quick Start dialog box opens:

  1. Select Dialog from the Generic Templates list and then click Create.

Integrated Development Environment

A new app is created for the model, and the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is opened: Figure 3: The new app
