Conclusions

SL2AMECosim has been designed to be as easy as possible to use. Of course, it is highly recommended to test the exported model thoroughly in Simcenter Amesim and to compare the results from Simulink and Simcenter Amesim. Remember that solver and discontinuity handling are different in Simcenter Amesim and Simulink.

In order to make the model easier to use, we recommend replacing the component icons generated by SL2AMECosim with more explicit icons created with Simcenter Amesim's Icon editor. Another suggestion is to create a supercomponent to wrap around the generated submodel. This would, for example, allow you to add ‘physical ports’.
