Deploying apps

Once your app has reached a state where you are ready to test it, press the Save all button .

Note

Saving the app does not save the Simcenter Amesim document, if you close the Simcenter Amesim circuit without saving it, the app (or any modifications you have made to an existing app) will be lost.

You can run an app from the Editor to test it, by clicking the Run button . The Apps Designer IDE will first save the app (similar to pressing the Save all button), and then run it. If you do not see your app, it might be hidden behind the Editor. Once you are satisfied with your app, you can close the Editor (you can always re-open it to make further modifications to the app).

If an app is running while you make changes to it in the Editor, you have to run the app again to see the modifications you have made. There is no need to close the app before re-launching it. Pressing the Run button, automatically closes the currently running app first before launching it again.

In the Simcenter Amesim document, you can launch your app through the app button .
