The status of this checkbox determines the behavior of the Run Monitor pane which appears when you execute a simulation run. If the box is enabled (ticked), the Run Monitor pane disappears when the simulation run is successfully completed. If it is disabled, the pane remains visible until you close it.
Display batch options when starting the simulation

When this option is selected, the Design matrix dialog box opens when you start a simulation run, enabling you to select the batch runs to include in the simulation.
Use extended size limit for result file

Result file size
Select this checkbox to enable the creation of result files up to 6 GB in size. See also Saving strategy.
Warning
This may result in additional processing time.
Delay for slow networks (in seconds)
Delay for slow networks (in seconds)
Increase this value when your model is stored on a remote machine and you get an error message related to the model .data file.
Sub-process priority setting
Sub-process priority setting
You can set the priority for simulation runs. This can be particularly useful on single processor machines if you are running a large number of parallel batch runs. You can set sub-process priority to one of the following:
normal (the default setting)
below normal
idle
Allow remote connection for simulation results streaming
If this option is not set, communication between Simcenter Amesim and the simulator for streaming results is opened using channels only visible from and accessible to the computer running Simcenter Amesim. If necessary, you can open this channel (port) such that it is opened for access from outside the computer. This is typically needed when you are using automatic plot update and/or the Dashboard for simulations that are running remotely (but not HPC).
The default port number is in the range 45000-45100 (taking the first port which is available in this range). If you open access for remote connections you may have to open the corresponding port in your firewall configuration.
If the port range is already in use, you can set a different range by modifying the Simcenter Amesim preferences. Please contact Simcenter Amesim support if this is required.
Warning
Opening ports for outside access is normally considered a security risk and should only be done in an environment where all computers on the network are trustworthy.
If you change this option, you must restart Simcenter Amesim.
