Connecting Components

When you hover your mouse over a component, depending on the position, the cursor will take on the form of a hand or of a connector .

Hand	Connector

• When the hand symbol is displayed, you can single-click on the component to move it, or double-click it to modify its dimensions and rotation.

• The connector symbol appears when you hover over a port. When the connector symbol is displayed, you can click to start drawing a connection to another component.

When you click to start drawing a connection, you can click at various points to make right-angular turns in the path of the connector.

When your connector approaches another port, that port highlights in green to indicate that the connection can be made.

As soon as the green highlight appears, you can click to complete the connection, even if your line has not fully reached the target port.

Connecting array connectors

When you connect array connectors, the following dialog box opens:

Use it to indicate which parts of your connectors you want to connect.

Connecting expandable connectors

When you connect expandable connectors, the following dialog box opens:

Type in the name of the variable on the expandable connector you want to connect.
