Translating the Modelica MSD model

Now that this model has been created in the Modelica Editor, you must translate it in the Simcenter Amesim GUI.

Procedure

If you do not currently have a model open in the Simcenter Amesim GUI, start a new one using the Create a new system button or use Ctrl+N.
In the Modelica Editor, right-click on the Modelica model in the library tree and select Add to active Simcenter Amesim model.
Return to the Simcenter Amesim GUI and switch to Submodel mode. This will trigger the Modelica translation process which generates a native Simcenter Amesim submodel as shown in the Modelica view.
Switch to Parameter mode. You can save your .ame file, e.g., as MSD.ame.
Switch to Simulation mode. The System Compilation dialog will appear showing first the compilation of the local Modelica submodel, followed immediately by the compilation of the entire system.

Your model is now prepared for simulation and post-processing.
