Post-processing integrated features

The aims of the post-processing integrated features are as follows:

• Creation of post-processing variables in Simcenter Amesim

• Enable the use of parameters in expressions of a post-processing variable

• Introduction of cross variables

The post-processing integrated features are available through the following two tabs:

• Post processing

• Cross result

These two tabs can be displayed (or hidden) through the Edit > Show / Hide menu:

Note

When a system which contains simulation results created with a previous version of Simcenter Amesim (prior to Rev 10) is opened, Simcenter Amesim converts the results so that they can be used by the post-processing functions when the user switches to Parameter mode. This operation can take a long time for systems containing a large number of variables, but is only performed the first time the system is opened in the current version.
