Welcome page

When you launch Simcenter Amesim, a Welcome page is displayed. This page provides a simple entry point for many aspects of the use of Simcenter Amesim.

Note

You can deselect the Show this dialog at startup checkbox if you do not want this page to be displayed when you launch Simcenter Amesim. The Welcome page is always accessible through the Help menu.

Quick links

	What's New?	This option opens the Help What’s New page which provides a list of the new features in the current version of Simcenter Amesim.
	Movies	This option opens the Help Quick Start Movies page which provides access to movie tutorials that highlight features or applications of Simcenter Amesim.
	Tutorials	This option opens the Simcenter Amesim Tutorial manual.
	Demos	This option opens the Simcenter Amesim Demos page where you can access the Simcenter Amesim demo models.
	Help	This option opens Help.
	Support	This option opens the Help Product and Support information page.

Overview

This section provides a summary of the essential operation of Simcenter Amesim, with a brief overview of what it is, a description of the workflow, and other useful information on the application, such as mouse and keyboard shortcuts, and some useful tips and tricks.

Recent files

The Recent files list gives you direct access to the last files opened in Simcenter Amesim. You can click a file in this list to open it directly. The number of files displayed here depends on the Number of Recent files setting in the Simcenter Amesim preferences.
