The Tree view

The Tree view gives a hierarchical overview of the Form and helps you design your layout:

Locating items on the Form

You can click on the different items in the list to quickly locate them on your Form:

Tree view right-click options

You can modify the items in the Tree View through a right-click. The options you can adjust depend on the item selected.

The options available in the Tree View contextual menu are also available through a right-click on a widget in the Form Scene.

Option	Function
Change object name	Modify the name of the object
Change tool Tip	Modify the tooltip for the object
Change whatsThis	Modify the 'Whats this' description for the object
Change styleSheet	Modify the style sheet for the selected object
Size constraints	Modify the size constraints for the selected object
Promoted widgets	Do not use.
Send to Back	Send the selected object to the back
Bring to Front	Send the selected object to the front
Cut, copy, paste, delete	Cut, copy, paste or delete the selected object
Select all	Select all objects in the Tree
Layout	Adjust the size of a selected object, or set the layout options for all the objects in the tree
