Motivations
System integration is one of the current challenges faced by industrial manufacturers and suppliers, especially in the field of Energy Management. To ensure efficient use of energy, while providing the best possible performance, engineers have to be able to optimize their systems in different operational conditions.
Tools to easily assess performance and losses for different architectures are proposed in order to analyze results for dedicated studies on performance. This helps engineers to define optimal strategies to reduce the energy consumption.
Features to model energy management and associated key-criteria are useful for rapidly studying the influence of topological modifications of each subsystem (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical). Reporting capabilities make it possible to create an energy decision support tool that will support the designer in finding the best possible energy exploitation characteristic for his/her design.
