Connections between components

Components connections between

Simcenter Amesim allows components to be connected together at their ports without lines. Two components can be connected at their ports if:

• Compatible types

the ports are of compatible types,

• the ports are within a threshold distance (12 pixels),

• at least one compatible combination of submodels exists (see Why can I not connect two components?).

If the ports are of compatible types, green squares appear when the components are close to each other.

If you left-click the components will Snap snap together. In other words they are connected.
