Global parameter types

You can:

• Add a global parameter by clicking on the Add new button after selecting the tab associated with its type. When it is created, default values are assigned to each of its characteristics.

• Delete a global parameter by clicking on the Remove button after selecting it in the list.

• Move a global parameter up and down using the arrow buttons. However, when you save, Component Customization does a check to ensure a variable is not expressed in terms of another later in the list.

You cannot:

• Express a global parameter in terms of itself.
