Translating the Modelica RLC model

Now that the source code for this model has been updated in the Modelica Editor, you can pull these changes back into the associated Modelica component in the Simcenter Amesim GUI.

Procedure

1. Right-click on the Modelica model in the Modelica Editor library tree and select Add to active Simcenter Amesim model.Wait until generation is over.

2. Switch to Submodel mode. This will trigger the Modelica translation process which generates a native Simcenter Amesim submodel as shown in the Modelica view.

3. Switch to Parameter mode. You can save your .ame file, e.g., as RLC.ame.

4. Switch to Simulation mode. The System Compilation dialog will appear showing first the compilation of the local Modelica submodel, followed immediately by the compilation of the entire system.

Results

Your model is now prepared for simulation and post-processing.
