Text editor options
In the Text Editor options you can configure the following items:

Options general
Show line numbers: Use this option to display or hide line numbers in the Text Editor.
Wrap text: Use this option to define whether text ‘wraps’ to the next line of a Modelica file.
Tabs
Width Options tabs Tabs options : Use this option to set the tab width for the Text Editor.
Insert spaces: If you select this option, each tab insertion will insert the number of spaces defined in the Width setting, instead of a single tab spacing. Without this option, a single tab spacing (as defined in the Width setting) is inserted.

Click the Change button to select the required font, font style, font size and font effects.
Colors
Background color: Color options Options colors Background color Options background color Click the Change button to select a new background color for the Text Editor.
Syntax colors: Options syntax colors syntax color options You can configure each syntax element to use a specific color and style. Each element can use a different background color, foreground color, and font style (bold, italic, underline):
Background: This option sets a background color for a syntax element. In the following example, syntax keywords are configured to be displayed on a light blue background: To remove the background color for an element, tick the Transparent checkbox. Foreground: This option sets a color for the text of a syntax element. Click the Change button to select a new color for a syntax element. Bold, Italic, Underline: Use these checkboxes to set the font style for syntax elements.
