CAD Import main window

You start the CAD Import application trough the Tools menu:

A new CAD Import window opens:

The CAD Import environment is very similar to the 3D Scenes environment. Only the features that are specific to CAD Import will be described in this manual. The features that are common to both environments are described in the 3D Scenes manual.

The CAD Import window contains:

• the Scene area,

• the Object tree,

• the Object inspector,

• the Measurements,

• the Connections.

The scene is described in The scene area section of the 3D Scenes manual.

Note

The right click menu section contains one additional entry that is not present in Animation: the Boolean sub-menu. This is described in the Boolean operations section.

The Object Tree and Object inspector are described in The object properties section of the 3D Scenes manual.

Associations to properties are not available in CAD Import.
