Limitations

Circuit API

Please be aware of the following limitations when using the Simcenter Amesim circuit API.

The circuit API has some limitations in comparison with a model built in Simcenter Amesim:

• You cannot create graphical objects on the sketch.

• You cannot define batch parameters. You can, however, change a parameter and launch a simulation in a loop, which is almost equivalent to a batch run.

• You cannot perform linear analysis.

• You cannot use the Export setup or Design Exploration tools.

• You cannot create or modify post-processed variables.
