View menu

This menu allows you to preview your parameters and variables in Simcenter Amesim and select the menus and toolbars you want to display in the Component Customization interface.

The Parameter mode option takes the active object in its current state and shows how the Change Parameters dialog box will look like for this object in Simcenter Amesim. You can also click on the button in the toolbar.

Use this facility frequently when you are customizing submodels and supercomponents as you can identify mistakes at an early stage.

Simulation mode

The Simulation mode option takes the active object in its current state and shows how the Variable List dialog box will look like for this object in Simcenter Amesim. You can also click on the button in the toolbar.

Use this option to hide or display the File, Edit or View toolbars.

Show/hide

Library Tree: This option displays the Library Tree in the Component Customization window.

Library Items: This option displays the contents of a category selected in the Library Tree.

External Variables: This option displays the External Variables window for a selected submodel.

Log Window: The Log Window is used to display Modelica-related warnings or errors.
