Creating model apps

Model apps

When: a model app is typically created for user interfaces that work globally on the sketch or that are generic utilities.

How: model apps are created in two ways:

• From the Simulate > Post processing menu, select New app ... Figure 15: Creating an app from the Simulate menu

• From the Analysis toolbar, click on the New tile from MODEL APPS category in the App space Figure 16: Creating an app from the Analysis toolbar

Note

With the Simulate > Post processing menu option, you can only create an app. With the Analysis toolbar option, you can both create and import existing apps.

By default, when you create a new model app, it is saved as part of the .ame file (including all enclosed .ui, .py and image files).
