Lock Sketch

Use the Lock Sketch option to lock or unlock your sketch.

• When you create a new system, the option is disabled, and you can start building your sketch. If you open an existing system, by default it is also unlocked, unless the Automatic lock sketch option is selected in the Simcenter Amesim preferences.

• When the option is enabled, you cannot add or remove any components in the system.

The Lock Sketch option is a safety device that can be used to prevent you from accidentally altering the system. If you find yourself blocked from modifying the sketch, it may be because the system is locked.
