Deleting a global parameter

Procedure

1. Select Configure > Global parameters to open the Global Parameter Setup dialog box.

2. If you want to modify the value of a parameter, double click its value and type in the new value.

This new value will be taken into account in all the components where the global parameter is used.

3. If you want to delete a global parameter, select it and right-click to open the contextual menu and select Delete, or use the delete button on your keyboard.

4. Click on OK for validation.

If you delete a global parameter that is currently used in the system, you are asked to confirm the deletion.

If you click Yes, the value will be reset to the previously assigned value. In other words, if the parameter was set to its default value, the default value will be restored. If you had modified the parameter value before creating a global parameter, the modified value will be restored.
