File name rules

The name of the file used by AMEPilot to store output parameter values is based on the name of the target model. If your model is named myModel then the output file name is myModel_.out.

Results format

As for the input file, in the output file there is one line for each output. Each line starts with the export name of the output parameter, followed by the corresponding value.

Output template file

Note

As an input template file is created when saving the Export setup, a template of the output file is also created. This file has the same name as the output file except that the extension of this file is .out.tpl. It may be useful when you are using an external tool (such as an Optimization tool) which needs such a template.

The values stored in this file are meaningless for the user but are meaningful for certain Simcenter Amesim add-ons such as the MS Excel interface.
