Using Automation Connect with the plot

When using Automation Connect, it can be interesting to check what happens on the Simcenter Amesim side. During the simulation, it is indeed possible to plot Plot variables as usual (using drag-and-drop), provided that these variables are saved in the result file (saved next status set to true).

The Automatic Update Automatic Update feature is also fully operational.

Note

By default, all the variables are saved by Simcenter Amesim. However it can be very useful, especially in Hardware-in-the-Loop to restrict the number of saved variables as much as possible by keeping only the variables of interest. To do this, it is advised to define all the variables of interest as Watch variables Watch variables and to only select Watch variables as variables to be saved while configuring the saving strategy Saving strategy .
