Getting started

This section introduces you to Simcenter Amesim and its basic functions. Here, you will learn how to create a basic system, set parameters, run a simulation, and create graphs to plot results.

In subsequent sections you will perform more advanced examples, use batch runs and the Experiment view, use Locked states and create Post-processing variables.

First you will do some exercises constructing engineering systems and analyzing their dynamic performance using the main Simcenter Amesim utilities.

After completion of these exercises, you should be able to perform simple simulation studies using standard Simcenter Amesim components and submodels. We recommend that you also do the exercises in the Advanced examples section immediately or soon after you complete this Getting Started section.
