Attached images and plot configurations
Parameters and components can have images and plot configurations attached to them as visual aids. This is done in Submodel Editor by the component's designer.
Note
Images can also be assigned in Supercomponents, and they are displayed for exposed parameters. Encrypted supercomponents also support images.
Attached images
When a parameter has an image attached to it, the following icon is displayed.

The same icon appears in the toolbar of the contextual view.

When you click this icon (with the corresponding parameter selected), an image view opens to display the attached image:

Once the image view is open, you can click the different parameters that contain images to display those images. If you select a parameter that has no image attached, the last-displayed image remains on display.
When the Image view is open, you can click the Submodel Image button to switch to a view of the image associated with the parent submodel:

Note
If no image is attached to the parameter, the image viewer displays the image (if any) that is associated with the parent submodel.
The image view is also available in the Change Parameters dialog box:

This option is also available in the Variable list dialog box.

Note
The plot configuration can also be launched in simulation mode by double-clicking the component for which the plot configuration has been set.
