Submodels updated
ESSSCU01V01: The safety control unit for battery has been updated and its parameters are now aligned with the battery pack parameters one (ELE-14976).
ESSBATPEC11V02, ESSBATPEC12V02, ESSBATPP2D01V01, ESSBATPP2D02V01: Various improvements have been conducted:
The P2D and SPMe models have been modified to be aligned with Simcenter Battery Design Studio (BDS) and now require the positive and negative electrode reaction current density instead of the reaction rate (ELE-14235).
The P2D model now correctly distributes the current across the negative electrode layers when the SEI resistance is significant (ELE-16030).
In the P2D and SPMe models the dead lithium is no longer removed when lithium plating modeling is disabled (ELE-16206).
The P2D model is now producing the expected results when the number of electrode elements differs from the number of particle elements (ELE-16221).
Dedicated tools updated
Battery Electro-thermal Identification Tool: The diffusion resistance identification step now prevents any resistance with null or too small a value (ELE-14678).
Demos updated
Demo > Library > Electric Storage > Electrochemical NMC-SiC Pseudo-Two-Dimensional (P2D) battery model comparison:
- The expression to compute the electrode current density of the NMC cell model is now defined with a correct temperature dependency and is valid for any cell temperature (ELE-16013).
