Contextual menu options

Some commands on the top of the window are also available in the context menu that can be displayed by right-clicking anywhere on the table.

Other commands are available only through the contextual menu:

Copy data

Copy the selected cells into the clipboard to be used in other applications or to place them somewhere else in the table.

Warning

The copied data is delimited in a clipboard with a Tab character.

Paste data

Insert any clipboard data into the table starting at the position of the first selected cell. If required, the table is expanded to fit the content of the pasted data.

Warning

The tabular data in a clipboard is considered to be delimited by a Tab character. The options in the Column split  group are not considered when pasting data from the clipboard.

Clear data

Erase the contents of the selected cells (the cells are not removed)

Insert Row

A new row can be inserted anywhere in the table by using either the Insert row above or Insert row below commands. Any table selection or header/units row information is retained. Note that if you insert a row inside a table selection, the new row is included in the selection.

Insert Column

A new column can be inserted anywhere in the table by using either of the Insert column to left or Insert column to right commands. Any table selection is retained, but if you insert a column inside a table selection, the new column is included in the selection.

Remove row(s)

One or several selected rows can be removed from the table by using the Remove row(s) command.

Note

If the rows removed are part of a selection, the selection is shrunk.

Remove column(s)

One or several selected columns can be removed from the table by using the Remove column(s) command.

If the columns removed are part of a selection, the selection is shrunk.
