Once the model is built

Once the model is built it is still possible to detect that the underlying system embeds an algebraic loop.

After having run the model, open the Performance Analyzer window. Going to the State contributions tab you can see generated implicit variable present in the model. The lines corresponding to these types of variables are colored in blue and a special message displayed below the state variable list specifies that algebraic loops are embedded in the underlying Simcenter Amesim model.

In order to locate where implicit variables have been generated in the system, a simple double-click on the corresponding line in the state count list will highlight the component defining the corresponding variable on the sketch .
