Saving the data

To save the data selection of the spreadsheet into a table file, you can use the Export to Table Editor or Export table commands from the File group in the File section.

Note

If you start the Data Import from the Table Editor, only the Export to Table Editor is available as the data is automatically transferred back to the Table Editor at the end of the process.

Warning

Since the output table formats expect that all columns have the same length, empty and text values in cells are automatically converted to 0 when written to file.

Export to Table Editor

Pressing the Export to Table Editor command opens a file browser which allows you to select the location and name of the output file.

When you click the Save button, the Data Import is closed and the Table Editor is launched with the table loaded.

Export table

Pressing the Export to Table Editor command opens a file browser, which allows you to select the location and name of the output file.

When you click the Save button, you return to Data Import interface.
