Rubber zoom

In this mode, you can perform "rubber" zooms:

  • Rubber XYs in the graph area

  • Rubber X in the X axis area

  • Rubber Y in each Y axis area (see Y axis synchronization)

  • Rubber Ys in Y axes area

  • Rubber Z in the Z axis area (in 3D graph)

This is done by using the left mouse button + mouse move + release:

The mouse cursor will be different if the cursor is in graph area or in axis area:

Note

When the mouse cursor is over an axis, the axis is highlighted to show explicitly that the zoom will be constrained to this axis.

A rubber zooms, in case of a Y constraint looks like:

In this mode, you have access to the zoom in/out:

  • Zoom +/- XY in the graph area

  • Zoom +/- X in the X axis area

  • Zoom +/- Y in each Y axis area

  • Zoom +/- Ys in Y axes area

  • Zoom +/- Z in the Z axis area (in 3D graph)

Zoom Previous

In this mode, the Zoom Previous action is directly accessible from the mouse XButton1:

In this mode, the Zoom Previous action is directly accessible from the mouse XButton2:
