Element script configuration

Here you can define your script elements. You can enter the name of your target file directly in the input field, or click the left-hand part of the browse button to open the Choose Editor dialog box with which you can browse to locate the file you require.

If you click the arrow on the right-hand part of the Browse button, the following menu appears:

  • Select Browse executable to browse to locate the executable file you require.

  • Select Browse embedded Python script to locate a Python script file.

Each script added appears in the Parameters or Variables panes as an icon:

Scripts manage dialog

Select Manage to open the Manage scripts dialog box:

This window is used to manage any scripts attached to the currently active system. If no scripts have been created and attached to the system, the window is empty. Any scripts listed in this window are also accessible through the Scripts icon drop-down menu:

Clicking an entry in this list opens the script directly.

You can use the Up and Down buttons to reorganize this list, to define which script is opened by the icon.

The Manage scripts window contains the following buttons:

  • Up: Move the selected script up in the list

  • Down: Move the selected script down in the list

  • New: Create a new script

  • Delete: Delete the selected script from the list

  • Launch: Launch the selected script

  • Properties: Open the Document Script configuration dialog box

  • OK: Confirm your modifications and close the dialog box
