Setting parameters

Procedure

  1. Switch to the Parameter mode tab.

  2. Save the system as QuarterCar.

  3. Close the window when the label Completed appears.

  4. Click on each component to examine its current parameters.

A single click opens the parameter view (if enabled through  Edit > Show/Hide > Parameters): Figure 9: Display of the current parameters - Contextual parameters view window

A double-click opens the Change Parameters dialog box: Figure 10: Display of the current parameters - Change parameters window

  1. Now focus your attention on the upper mass (figure Figure 9).
