Impact in Simcenter Amesim

Using an encrypted object in a Simcenter Amesim model implies some limitations in the use of the model:

• The C code of the model is no longer accessible, since it would represent a potential entry point for reverse engineering.

• The model cannot be compiled in DEBUG mode for the same reason.

• Most resource files associated with the model are totally or partially encrypted, at least the lines dealing with parameters and variables associated with the encrypted object, which prevents them from being modified by some scripting API functions.

• The model can not be exported to real time target, since the C code is missing.
