Recovering the auxiliary system of a supercomponent

If you want to paste the constituents of a supercomponent into the active window, perform the following steps:

Procedure

1. Adjust the path list if necessary to ensure you have access to the supercomponent.

2. Put the active system in Sketch mode and ensure it is unlocked.

3. Select Sketch > Available supercomponents.

4. Select the supercomponent of interest and click on Open.

5. In the Supercomponent Editor window, use Ctrl+A to select all components and then Ctrl+ C to copy them.

6. Close the Supercomponent Editor window and the Available Supercomponents dialog box.

7. Use Ctrl+V to paste the copied components into the active system.

Results

The supercomponent appears in the system, replacing the mouse cursor until you place it on the sketch:
