The Component Customization main window

main window

The empty main window of Component Customization is shown in the following figure. Click on the menu bar or move your mouse pointer on the toolbar and the category buttons to have more details:

When an object is loaded, the main window looks like the figure below:

The window contains the following areas, as numbered in the screenshot above:

1. Customized object general features

2. Global parameters lists

3. External variables list

4. Internal items lists

This nomenclature will be used throughout this section.

Note

If a customized submodel is loaded rather than a customized supercomponent, the customized object general feature area is simpler than the one shown in the figure above.
