Model Exchange related capabilities

During simulation, step events are ignored. This means that a FMU cannot require from Simcenter Amesim to process an event that is not identified by an event indicator change or a scheduled time event. In particular, FMU that rely on dynamic state selection are not supported. A warning message is reported, but the simulation does not stop.

Note

If the FMU enables it explicitly in its Model Description, it is possible to use several instances of the same FMU for Model Exchange on the same Simcenter Amesim sketch.
