Angle measurement
Procedure
- Select the measurement settings:
Between two edges and/or faces: .
From three points: . The points can be defined by a vertex available on the CAD part or by snapping a point onto an edge or a face of the CAD part. The angle value is computed in the anticlockwise direction. Consequently, the returned value depends on the point selection order.
Between an edge or a face and a reference plane: , or . The reference plane can be defined in absolute coordinates or relatively to the studied part: or .
- Select the From entity and the To entity if the angle is measured between two edges and/or faces.Select an edge or a face if the angle is measured according to a reference plane.
To unselect an entity, click on the sign or select it again on the 3D view.
- Click the Measure button.
