Debug compilation
This option produces an executable that is in a suitable form for a debugger.
If your system contains a user-defined submodel, you might need to debug it. To do this, the submodel must be compiled in debug mode. You must also compile the Simcenter Amesim model using this user submodel in debug mode:
Select Tools > Advanced > Debug compilation.
Switch to Simulation mode to force a recompilation.
The model is compiled in Debug mode:

Note
This is only relevant if the model contains at least one submodel compiled in debug mode. Please refer to the Submodel Editor Preferences section of the Submodel Editor manual for more information.
