What is Simcenter Amesim Run?

Simcenter Amesim Run is part of the Simcenter Amesim™ software family. It has many of the functionalities of the main Simcenter Amesim utility, so that you can:

• Load Simcenter Amesim systems

• Change parameters and set up batch runs

• Perform standard or batch runs

• Plot graphs of results

• Perform linear analysis

• Export models to run outside of Simcenter Amesim Run

• Do design exploration studies

However, you cannot:

• Create new systems

• Modify the sketch of an existing system

• Change the submodel behind a component

For those used to Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter Amesim Run has all the functionalities of Parameter and Simulation modes, but none of the functionalities of Sketch and Submodel modes.

The idea is that Simcenter Amesim systems are created and tested by experienced Simcenter Amesim users. When they are in a mature state, these systems can be distributed to Simcenter Amesim Run users so that studies can be performed on these systems.
