Saving

The Save dialog box is displayed in the following cases:

• When you click the Save all button.

• When you close the Modelica Editor when you have modified anything without performing a save.

• When you save a ‘parent’ node that has not been modified but which contains a ‘child’ that has been modified.

• When you unload a class which contains modifications.

This dialog box displays explicitly modified classes (a class whose source code has been modified in any way) with an asterisk, and implicitly modified classes (a package that contains classes that have been explicitly modified) in italics. A package can be both explicitly and implicitly modified.

Through this dialog box, you can specify the individual classes you want to save (through their checkboxes), or use the Save all or Save none buttons to save or discard all modifications with a single click. Alternatively, you can use the Select/Deselect all checkbox and click OK to either save all classes or save none.
