Understanding the license file

The license file contains configuration information:

• A SERVER line which specifies the license server

• A VENDOR line which specifies the vendor daemon

• A series of INCREMENT lines which define your licenses for Simcenter Amesim products, optional libraries and tools you have purchased.

Warning

Any time you make changes to the license file, you must reread the license file or restart the license daemons. Consult the documentation of the Siemens License Server for information on this procedure.
